Where in the World?

Hello, All,

Did you really think I'd wait very long before I struck again? ;-)

You read
a lot of crime fiction, and I'm sure you remember where the stories you read take place.... or do you? Take this quiz and find out. Read each story's description and match it with the correct location. At the end of the quiz, check your results to see how you have done.

Ready? Click the globe to begin.... if you dare ;-)

  1. Great fun, Margot -- and a good "book list" for your humble student :D

  2. Molly - Why, thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it :-). And I don't exactly think of you as my student. We are all learners, really....

  3. Sadly, I only received 20%. I haven't read most of the books on the list. However, these quizzes are great fun, I've added a few to my posts as well.

  4. Clarissa - I'm glad you thought the quiz was fun, even if you didn't get a high score. And I loved the sense of humour on your quiz today :-). Sometimes, it's just fun to do those kinds of things...

  5. I failed too (40%), but it was fun - a very nice mixture of books were included!

  6. Book Mole - Oh, no such thing, really, as failing. If you had fun, that's what matters :-). Glad you liked the mix of books.

  7. That was fun even though I failed (40 percent). A good way to remember books.

  9. And I thought I was bad. If Mason and Clarissa got marks as low as mine, at least I am in good company.

Thanks for another great quiz, Margot.

  11. Rayna - Oh, my pleasure :-). And with these little quizzes, there is no such thing at all as a bad score. It's all for fun...

Maxine - Well-done, indeed :-)! Glad you had fun with the quiz.

  12. after the first two I thought I would fail miserably. I think a geography test is mean, Margot, but when I relaxed and went into guessing mode, things went much better. 70 % - mainly through sheer luck.

  13. Dorte - 70%'s quite respectable - I'm glad you relaxed and let your brilliant brain do the work for you.

And be happy: at least I didn't make this one a math test ;-).

  14. Great fun. Passed with 80%. Have never read P.D. Martin or Tonino Benacquista. Must have an eye out for them.

  15. Palle - Thank you :-). I am so glad you enjoyed the quiz, and you did quite well :-). I recommend both Benacquista and Martin, actually; they are very different kinds of authors and their books are quite different to each to each other, but both are talented folks.

Elspeth - Thanks :-). Glad you enjoyed the quiz. And whatever your score, thanks for playing :-).
