Please Pardon the Interruption....

Hello, Kind Readers of Confessions of a Mystery Novelist,

Angel here, with an update on the giveaway competition that I announced last week. Thanks to all of you for your ideas for a title for Margot's book. Your ideas were creative and interesting, and I had quite a time convincing Margot to choose just one.

So, without further ado.....

The winner of the Name-Margot's-Book contest is... Alan Orloff! The winning title, and the title that Margot will use unless a publisher browbeats her into choosing another is: The Mystery Professor's Guide to Great Mysteries.

Congratulations, Alan! Margot will be in touch with you very soon to get your postal address.

My thanks to all of you, not only for your wonderful title ideas, but for all of the inspiration you always give to Margot. She learns from each of you.

Later this year, Margot will begin to make some semblance of order out of the chaos that is her set of blog posts, and put the book together.

Now...could someone please do Margot and me a favor and get a highly reputable and world-famous publisher to instantly contract with Margot for this book, and then sell millions and millions of copies, so that we can live in the decadent style to which we would like to become accustomed? ; ) Thank you

  1. Gosh, if I had that kind of clout with a publisher, I'd definitely push him/her in Margot's direction! Lots of success with the book!

Good luck with the book, Margot! I'm glad you're going to share your wisdom with a larger audience. And how could the book not be a success when you have Angel and Indy to help keep you straight :-)
